The Art of Type

These projects were done in my sophomore
year typography class. The goal of these
projects was to play with letterforms and
find methods to make them work together
in an abstract way using the fonts
Bodoni and Garamond.

Smoothie 101

Smoothie 101 is a project from introduction
to graphic design class. The goal was to
create clear instructions without the
use of words.

Realistic Eye

This project was done for a digital essentials
class. Using photoshop, I painted a leapord
eye and attempted to make it as
realistic as possible.

New York Oysters

Based off the Billion Oyster Project, this
poster was made to raise awareness of the
oytser population decrease in New York
Harbors. This project was done in
experimental processes class. Along with
Illustrator, I used a letterpress
and gelatin prints.

Slice Type

Slice Type is a part of a sketchbook I made
in experimental processes class. I was
assigned a method of warping/abstracting
typography and needed to create
instructions on how get the final product.

Bloom

This is an app I designed in XD for
information design class. Bloom is
an app that assists you in caring for
and learning about plants you have or
are thinking about purchasing.

Healthy Hive

This project was done in introduction to
graphic design. Healthy Hive is a honey
based daily vitamin intended for adults
ages 18+. The goal of the project was
to create a product made out of insects
themselves or something insects create.

I'm Lyndsey

I am a senior in Graphic Design
at the University of
Massachusetts Dartmouth.
I am currently searching for
an internship for the summer
of 2020. I am seeking an
internship that will teach
me to utilize the skills I have
as well as introduce new
techniques. I am passionate
about design and creating and
I am looking to build a
career as a graphic designer.
